New Patient Fee covers the following: 

• The Initial Visit
• All New Patient tests are covered by the New Patient Fee ( each test is explained below)  We cannot perform all 7 tests in the initial visit, simply because it is too much information for the patient to process at once, and it would take 4 hours to run all of the tests.  We will complete all of the tests by the 2nd or 3rd visit depending on the time and condition of each patient.  However, we do charge the regular office visit fee of $125 for the follow-up visits
• A two week follow-up phone call from a qualified staff member, to check on your progress and to see if there are any necessary adjustments that need to be made to your program.

New Patient Testing Includes:

1. Two Comprehensive Scans      based in Oriental Medicine:   These tests look at the organs, bones, teeth, hormones, looking for parasites, bacteria, fungus, mold, chemicals, toxic metals, digestion, food allergies, and more, examining everything that is going on in your body. 

These scans are very comprehensive and precise.     We use them all over the country and in other countries  via Tele-Medicine, or in person   to develop very customized programs for all, we serve families and individuals  from infants to geriatrics.  All ages and all conditions. 

2.    A Food Scan Report:   This report  tells you what to eat and what not to eat for the next 3 months, categorizing all the food groups, using a positive or negative number system to reveal what is beneficial for you to eat, or not to eat.

3.  The Heart Sound Recorder:      The Heart Sound Recorder (HSR) was developed in 1937 by Dr. Royal Lee, founder of Standard Process. Dr. Lee recognized the significance of the heart as a diagnostic indicator when he designed the Endocardiograph, an earlier version of the Heart Sound Recorder. This cardiovascular assessment tool allows the heart sounds to be graphed and provide us with valuable information:

• Whether your heart function is optimal
• If your body’s chemistry is balanced
• If your body’s nutritional deficiencies are causing stress on your heart
• Overall motor nerve support and blood viscosity
• specific nutritional support your body is requiring

In contrast, the electrocardiograph (EKG) records only the surface electrical impulses as it moves through the nerves of the heart tissue. The EKG primarily indicates if the heart tissue has undergone any trauma or permanent damage on an electrical basis. The EKG does not analyze valvular function, muscle efficiency, motor nerve function and blood viscosity. The EKG’s sole purpose is to diagnose disease, while the HSR looks at your heart function to analyze nutrient deficiency, improve health and longevity.

The Heart Sound Recorder provides a picture of heart sounds and analyzes heart function on a graph. We can measure the heart sound as a reflection of balanced body chemistry, nutrition, and overall function of the body’s systems.

The Heart Sound Recorder analysis can be affected by many of our systems, including circulatory, adrenals, kidney function, liver and gallbladder. Heart function and sound is also affected by vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, and toxins. It is important to emphasize that HSR reflects the efficiency and deficiencies of heart function.

The Heart Sound Recorder, can help detect dysfunctions and deficiencies, thereby helping you make appropriate lifestyle and dietary changes to improve health and wellness.

4.   The InBody Scan: Description can also be found below, this scan is used by Cedar Sinai, which is a comprehensive report on Muscle Mass, Body Fat, and the Hydration of the body. This scan is very insightful as it reveals much about the body in relation to the health of your cells, how much weight you need to lose, your visceral fat, how many calories you need daily even at rest etc.  This report is printed for the patient and included in their New Patient Folder.

5.   An Iridology Scan  - The study of the Iris.  Scott is an Iridologist and will give you very detailed information about your health based upon the picture he takes, and through the Iridology software we use.

6.     Heart Rate Variability Test- Heart rate variability is where the amount of time between your heartbeats fluctuates slightly. Even though these fluctuations are undetectable except with specialized devices, they can still indicate current or future health problems, including heart conditions and mental health issues like anxiety and depression. This test also reveals your physiological body age, so your biological age may be 40 yrs old, but your physiological body age is actually 75 yrs old.

If Scott feels you need blood tests of any kind he can order those for you, or recommend you request them from your primary care physician which would be covered under your insurance.  We do not contract with insurance.

What to expect   after  your New Patient Visit:

Regular Office Visits:  $125.00 

We schedule office visits once a month until the most pressing issues with a patient are resolved.  Once you are feeling great and these issues are resolved, Scott moves you to a once every two month schedule to maintain the progress. 

Our goal is to make every patient feel respected, heard, and cared for.  Scott takes his time in the room to hear you out and address your concerns.  Every patient is unique and every protocol is unique and customized to the patient. 

We have an in house "Farmacy" (Wholefood supplements, herbs, custom formulas, and systemic formulas) which also consist of hundreds of Liquid Herbs  (Scott is a Master Herbalist which customizes liquid formulas for our patients)  , as well as Wholefood Supplements, Protein Powders, Detox Shakes, and many more.
